Today, Will Critchlow and Rand chat about the strategies those on Google+ can use to work the new platform to their full advantage.
Build a robust, complete, useful profile
Use genuine information and contact details, as well as your photo. It seems that bright colours generally work better, and play around with the background colour.
Share content targeted to early adopters
Share things relevant to your current audience – case studies are great. The return at this point is getting traction and early adoption.
Use circles to bias your sharing
Use this feature that’s only on Google+ to share what is relevant to your circles. Don’t flood people with the wrong content. You can also use circles to share information in the correct language for people.
No matter what you share, get an image!
If the image that Google+ pulls as a thumbnail is wrong, change it.
